We did receive permission from the diocese to change the time for the 8:00 am Sunday Mass at St. Benedict to 7:30 am.
 
I thank everyone who took the time to either speak to me either in person or by E-Mail or Voice Mail.  I did take every single opinion into consideration.  There was a clear majority, roughly 60-40, in favor of moving the Mass to 7:30 am.  But even beyond the numbers, a group of moms from Faith Formation took the time to explain to me how a 7:30 am Mass would help their families.  I wrote everything up representing all sides, sent it to the diocese and received the permission.  The change from 8:00 am Mass to 7:30 am Mass will take place on Sunday, October 8.  The rest of the weekend Mass schedule will remain unchanged.
