Calling all generous hearts and workers!  The Christian Women of St. John XXIII will again assist the Appalachian Outreach Program by filling shoeboxes with new personal items, and small welcome supplies.  We will be filling boxes on every Tuesday morning in October.  The recipients are children of all ages, men, and women who reside in the 28 counties of West Virginia and Kentucky.
 
We can now accept clean shoeboxes, bars of soap, shampoo and conditioner, toothpaste and brushes, mouthwash, deodorant, hand lotion, razors, shaving cream, socks, scarves, winter caps, gloves.  Small boxes of crayons, pencils, small puzzles and puzzle books, note pads and general cards are welcome.
 
Donations can be left in the entrance to O’Brien Hall or the entrance to Finley Hall.
 
Contributions of time are also welcome.  Stop by Finley Hall on a Tuesday morning in October and live the Beatitudes by filling several boxes!  If you have any  questions, please call Maryanne Wyse
