The St John XXIII conference wants to thank our generous donors and benefactors for enabling our St. Vincent de Paul conference to serve those needing help in our area. For the 2019-2020 fiscal year, the total receipts from Sunday collections, Poor Box and Gift of Love donations were $41,218. Your gifts made it possible to provide $31,100 in assistance to our Friends in Need from St Benedict the Abbot, St Francis of Assisi and St Isaac Jogues with food, utilities, rent, mortgage, and medical costs, as well as, helping sister conferences in Washington County and in hurricane devastated areas. With all of the federal programs available due to the Pandemic, all of the St Vincent de Paul conferences received fewer calls than normal this year but our call volume has started to increase with the expiration of these programs and the holidays. In addition to providing financial help, we were able to connect our Friends in Need to various government programs, utilities company assistance programs and health and budget services to obtain help. Please be assured EVERY CENT COLLECTED GOES TO HELP THOSE IN NEED. Your monetary aid is important but equally important is the giving of time, talents, love and compassions by our Vincentians through home visitations. Please consider joining our conference and donating your time and love.
