Are you “itching” to get out in the dirt?  As greener grass and flowers are springing up all around us, we remind you of opportunities to assist in the community vegetable garden at the St Francis site.  New volunteers are always welcome.  Work nights are typically Monday and Thursday evenings, but during busy preparation and planting weeks we sometimes fit in afternoon hours.  No experience is needed (but seasoned growers are certainly welcomed to share their knowledge)!  To volunteer or if you have questions, please reach out to Patty Ross  at 412-973-9090 or Maryanne Wyse at 412-417-6434. 

Once again we will have a fundraising event through Lenik greenhouse in Finleyville.  You will be able to purchase certificates to be redeemed at the greenhouse for lovely Mother’s Day hanging baskets and flower or vegetable flats.  We will have more details in the upcoming weeks.
